Mr. Halstead holds a Bachelors from the University of Michigan with highest honors and scholarship key, a Masters in Quantitative Analysis, business and econometrics from Marquette University with highest honors, and a PhD (in process) from Scripps Institute, University of Wisconsin and PSU in Computational Mathematics and Supercomputing for Robotics and Natural Language Processing applications (including automated story analysis, pioneering work in the field of Analytic Story Deconstruction, and automated authors tools and software). Postgrad work includes animation for art, game programming, and research in Creative Cloud applications for writers and authors as well as language, symbol and formula processing in C, C#, Python. Tom began writing at age six and published his first graphic novel at age 13, which he wrote and illustrated. His first bestseller, at age 21, was an Automotive Guide and Manual commissioned by Ford Motor Company, which sold over 20 million copies. At age 23 Tom wrote and patented authoring database software for automating context specific and sensitive queries for technology question responses. As acquisitions editor, agent and production manager at a major Chicago publisher, Tom also has managed all aspects of both digital and print book production from manuscript to finished book, both in million print runs and print on demand, as well as all formats of e-books, novels and texts.
